Short Bio:
Raghunandan Manohar as a Physics student, he was strong in the understanding of the basic concepts in Physics. This was possible because of his attitude of learning anything thoroughly without allowing gaps in comprehension. He made use of every opportunity to approach me and get all his doubts in the subject clarified. In the class during my lectures, he would ask probing questions that demanded explanations at a deeper level of analysis.His participation and contribution in the Group 4 project (which is a interdisciplinary science activity in the IB diploma programme involving investigation around a chosen science theme) was highly appreciated. His group came up with interesting demonstrations of how science is used in the world of Magic.He engaged in multifarious co-curricular activities such as public speaking, skit, singing, making short film for Youtube, membership in a music band and so on.
His all-rounded engagement in these activities has made him versatile and a multi-skilled person which makes him eligible to pursue a challenging undergraduate programme.Equally important has been his efforts to keep himself physically fit by engaging in several sporting activities such as football, track events, rock climbing, trekking, cycling and so on. As a person, he had a good rapport with his classmates and with the teachers. He maintained a cordial working relationship with the teachers. He would be punctual to classes and very prompt in academic submissions.

The department of mechanical engineering of CIT attracts and features an extraordinary rich diversity and quantity of talented individuals, with nearly 500 Under Graduates which includes full time and part time, 60 Post Graduate students and over 40 faculty members. Apart from teaching undergraduate and post graduate students, the faculty of Mechanical Engineering actively pursues research through graduate students and research scholars.
