In 85 years, Istituto Marangoni has never stopped believing in the value of training and constantly updated its programmes to meet both Italian and international market needs. In the past few years, Istituto Marangoni opened four new schools: London in 2003, Paris in 2006, Shanghai in 2013, and Milano Design in 2014. Istituto Marangoni recently opened the new School of Fashion, Art & Design in Firenze and in Shenzhen (2016), Mumbai (2017) and Miami (2018), the international capitals of fashion, design and luxury.

The teaching spaces of Istituto Marangoni have tested the talents of four generations of professionals, hailing from 106 different countries and representing the heritage of our school. Istituto Marangoni continues to successfully ‘teach fashion’, as its founder wished, with the addition of design, having many things in common with fashion: colour, materials and creativity.
Course Info:

These undergraduate programmes are designed for participants looking to enter the fashion world, and provide a complete education allowing participants to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue a career in the chosen field. The Fashion Styling and Creative Direction Course, aims to inspire experimentation and exploration to allow development of an individual fashion style and harness creativity.

Students will expand on their industry practical skills, through the planning organisation and implementation of fashion shoots,working, managing and being an integral member of a fashion team, whilst building contacts with photographers, models and makeup artists, and expand their professional portfolio.Photo-shoots will encapsulate various formats from still life styling and photography to the development of sets, creating narratives
and propped environments, to communicate fashion stories.Editorial styling will further enhance application of the styling processes and production, embracing research of ideas, including the investigation into trends of makeup, hair and beauty to inform model looks. Editorial images will be used in a published magazine format, presented to a professional standard of execution and layout.
