Short Bio:

Aninditha is an intelligent and self confident student. She is a good team player and a good team leader. She knows her strengths and weaknesses. She is known for completing task on time in best form. I would also like to highlight that she is a keen listener and that’s why she is a wonderful public speaker, who is fluent in language and ideas. She has also proven to be a good friend, by helping her classmates learn better.

College Info:

CEPT University focuses on understanding, designing, planning, constructing and managing human habitats. Its teaching programs aim to build thoughtful professionals and its research programs deepen understanding of human settlements.The University comprises five faculties. The Faculty of Architecture was established as the ‘School of Architecture’ in 1962. It focuses on design in the private realm. The Faculty of Planning, focused on planning in the public realm, was established in 1972 as the ‘School of Planning’. The Faculty of Technology, which concentrates on engineering and construction, was established in 1982 as the ‘School of Building Science and Technology’. The Faculty of Design was established in 1991 as the ‘School of Interior Design’. It deals with habitat related interiors, crafts, systems, and products. Faculty of Management was established in 2013 and it focuses on Habitat and Project Management.

The new Bachelor of Design program is framed to provide a comprehensive and universal design education- the selected major equipping students with the skills and abilities necessary to address professional roles within that domain. The postgraduate programs are directed towards specialized areas, and focus on enhanced competencies.

Students engage in various studio projects within the broad lens of habitat and built environments but not limited to the same. Independent thinking is encouraged while bringing out the creative potential of each student. An interdisciplinary approach helps students navigate the complexity of the design process and its multiple demands. Work in the studio supports various approaches, nurtures student interests and learning styles, and is mentored by peers, faculty, and experts. Design thinking, design process and design concepts form an integral part of the curriculum which is advanced by emerging and digital technologies. Students are prepared for future jobs by addressing real-world problems, working with industry experts, engaging with design practitioners, internships, and placements.
