The B.A. in Media and Communications (BAMC) offered at School of Communication, MAHE, Manipal a three-year graduate degree program. The aim of the program is to offer a universal understanding of Media and Entertainment industry’s activities and equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to become an expert media professional ready to take on the challenges of the industry. The first year introduces foundational concepts of media, followed by industry required skill building through a balanced mix of theory and practical classes in the second year thereby finally leading to specialization in key domain areas of media including print media, broadcast media, public relations, advertising, and digital media in the final year.The B.A. Media and Communication course constitutes of 30 subjects offered over three years amounting to a total of 120 credits. In addition, students have to complete five Mandatory Learning Courses.
