PSG College of Technology, an ISO 9001:2000 certified institution is one of the foremost institutions founded by the PSG & Sons’ charities trust (1926). The college was established in the year 1951 and the founders decided to locate it in the same campus as the PSG Industrial institute for effective industry-institute interaction. The college today has strength of about 8500+ with engineering and technology departments besides the computer applications, management sciences, basic sciences and humanities departments.

The Programme aims at equipping students to face the intellectual demands imposed by the fashion & apparel industries and also to become entrepreneurs. The curriculum has been designed meticulously to equip the students with the knowledge required for pursuing a wide range of careers in designing, production and management. It gives students the opportunity and freedom to choose the specialisation necessary for their choice of career with the help of professional electives, open electives and internships. Cluster visit and craft documentation is also a part of the curriculum which enables them in learning the Indian traditional arts & crafts from the artisans in the clusters.
