Short Bio:

Nithin A.Kumar his dedication towards any areas of responsibility and interest was shown during his experimentation and research work.  He goes indepth into any idea and doesn’t rest till he has shown his complete understanding.  During his tenure in IB he was appreciated for his analytical and calculation skills.  His designing skills were put to test with molecular modeling where his model received recognition. His commitment to excel is reflected in the various achievements and awards he has secured. Academically, he had been an outstanding student throughout, in all the subject areas.  He has received Chairman’s award in grade 9 and ‘High Achiever’s Award’ for academic excellence in the IGCSE examination, scoring A* in all subjects.  He evaluates himself persistently to improvise and progress.  Open to correction and sharing his knowledge with others is a distinctive trait in Nithin .He has extended his skills in other areas apart from academics.  His leadership skills, diplomatic skills and as an efficient team player were reflected as a delegate in IIMUN, HMUN (Model United Nation Conference) and Robotic competitions.  His inclination for technology was shown in his enthusiastic participation and determination to excel when his team won the following awards: ‘Enabler award’ for cascade effect in ‘FTC world Championships’, St. Loius, MO,USA (2014-15); ‘Winning Alliance award’; ‘Control Award’ for design excellence; ‘Think Award’ for Engineering Notebook Documentation; ‘Inspire Award’ for leadership quality in ‘FTC Nationals Championships, Delhi-Team Technomancers’ 2014 and emerged as National Champions finalists in FLL 2012 Challenge – Team Indian Androids.Nithin’s caring nature was shown when he combined his creativity, technical proclivity and his concern to share knowledge with the underprivileged.  His personal association with ‘Outreach Programs’ like: Working with children with Special Needs (Autism etc.) and using Robotics as a tool to reach out to them to encourage interactions at Shri Prashanthi Academy, SPA; Introducing Robotics and Stem at local orphanage; Demoing the ‘Smart Cane’ a product developed at IIT Delhi to people with visual disabilities in Coimbatore are ample proof of his sincerity towards serving his society.His interest in sports was revealed as a good swimmer, shuttle player, basket ball player at the Inter-school level and as a manipulative chess player at the district level.
