The University of Warwick is a public research university on the outskirts of Coventry between the West Midlands and Warwickshire, England. The university was founded in 1965 as part of a government initiative to expand higher education. The Warwick Business School was established in 1967, the Warwick Law School in 1968, Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) in 1980, and Warwick Medical School in 2000. Warwick incorporated Coventry College of Education in 1979 and Horticulture Research International in 2004.It is organized into three faculties—Arts, Science Engineering and Medicine, and Social Sciences—within which there are 32 departments.

This comprehensive degree will develop your skills in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics.It will teach you to abstract and simplify economic problems, both empirically and theoretically, developing a deep knowledge of global and local economic trends, institutions and policies. The degree focuses on research-led teaching and so we will expose you to research from the very start and will encourage you to consider your own research questions.The flexible degree structure means that you can choose from many optional modules either from within or outside of the Economics Department. These optional modules might include ones taken from: Law, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business and Languages.
