MEASI ACADEMY OF ARCHITECTURE was established in the year 1999 within the New College Campus completing 23 years now in the heart of Chennai city. The academy has the approval of the Council of Architecture, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The institute was headed by Prof. Dr. N. Altaf Ahmed, Director, with his team of highly qualified and experienced faculty from across India and abroad. The institute collaborated with Westminster University, London U.K. on international fabrication competition and in Latitude project from Columbia, Italy, Maldives, UK and Brazil in the climate change forum with student and faculty interaction. The institute is collaborating with University of Johannesburg, South Africa. The institute exudes an atmosphere of learning and also trains the students to be professionals with confidence through additional inputs in discipline and communication skills. It has thus established a reputation for producing professionals with all round qualities. Our students have been placed in reputed firms in India and abroad, have also been associated with universities abroad for higher studies besides being in practice.

B.Arch Degree includes coursework in the form of theory subjects, research work, project work, studio, and assignments which makes the course curriculum interesting, interactive, and creative. There are many group projects assigned to students which increase team-building skills, apart from other necessary skills such as art, creativity, good communication skills, team spirit, creative thinking skills, and observant attitude.
