The B.Arch. degree programme at SRM is recognized as one of India’s premier courses. It also offers a large number of elective studies, ensuring flexibility and choice-based education tailored to the areas of special interest to students, such as urban design, landscape architecture, housing, project management, city planning etc. The programme is approved by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi and was the first one in South India to be accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (AICTE), in 2001.
