Short Bio:

Avantika is an intelligent and self confident student. She is a good team player and a good team leader. It is a rare thing to find someone who is well aware of their strengths and weaknesses, and be comfortable in their own skin. Avantika is such a person. I would also like to highlight that she is a wonderful public speaker, who is fluent in language and ideas. She has also proven to be a good friend, by helping her classmates learn better as well as complete assignments effectively.

Texas A&M University (Texas A&M or A&M) is a public research university in College Station, Texas. The Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree teaches students analytical thinking skills and their applications to better understand human behavior. The degree plan is designed to allow opportunities for applied exploration of economic principles and theory through research, internship, and study abroad opportunities while focusing on foreign language and the development of rational thought and critical thinking. At the completion of the degree, students are prepared for a wide variety of post-graduate options including: international business, law school, government and public policy professions, and non-profit organizations.

The Bachelor of Science in Economics degree teaches students analytical thinking skills and their applications to better understand human behavior. The degree plan is designed to allow opportunities for applied exploration of economic principles and theory through research, internship, and study abroad while focusing on quantitative skills and the development of rational thought and critical thinking. At the completion of the degree, students are prepared for a wide variety of post-graduate opportunities including: financial and banking careers, actuarial science, graduate school in social science and law, and government, public policy and political professions.
